Fundraising and Grants Associate

Zoe David-Lang joined the Development Team at VOTE in 2024.

Previously she worked at VOTE's partner the Promise of Justice Initiative. There she worked as one of the Client and Family Assistance Coordinators supporting the needs of currently incarcerated people and their families including those on death row. 

Zoe studied History and Justice and Law at American University in DC. This was where she found her passion for abolition and transformative justice through working with local organizations such as Free Minds Book Club & Writing Workshop and Rise Against Hate. 

Currently, Zoe is an organizer with Nola To Angola, an annual bike ride and fundraiser to fund buses for families to visit their incarcerated loved ones in Louisiana. In her free time, she loves to read, crochet, swim and cook!
